These first two pictures are of The Hubbs and Evan. Evan was throwing apples at our horses (Merle and Jasper) and The Hubbs was in the process of filling up their water when I saw the sun setting and really wanted to get that cast in the photos. I love how Evan's pant leg is sticking out of his boot. That's just typical Evan. I'm always telling him to fix his pants. LOL

I took the kids out to the cemetary so that I could get some photos of them. I did not tell them where we were going until we got there because I knew Izabella would have an issue with it. This is the look I got when I started snapping pictures. This was pretty much the only look I got from her. She was less then thrilled. I have a few more that I have not processed yet.

This was a photo that I took of her laying on the ground. This took some bribing (since we were at the cemetary and all. LOL) I had to stand over her and for some reason she kept thinking I was going to do something to her. She finally told me that she will close her eyes and count to 5 in her head and if I didn't get the shot by then I would not get it at all because she was outta there! LOL I got the shot I wanted and she took off running to the truck.

This one by the tree is also a shot that she gave me "count to five" to get. You can tell by her "smile" that she was humoring me.

Evan, on the other hand, totally loves the cemetary. This shot is one of my favorites of him that day and it really upsets me that my focus was not right.

This is "Little Tomb Peeker" or like I like to call it "self portrait". I didn't even pay attention to the fact that I could be seen in the window of the left door.

My kids are so over me. LOL
Evan likes to have his picture taken and will "pose" but will not look at the camera. This is what I get. It's good but eye contact would be great once in awhile.

Evan and those boots!

Okay, now this picture of Izabella turned out really nice and it made the entire trip there and the bribing worth it. This particular mos. she does not like but I always take them to it d/t the colors that it gives. The lock on the gate is broken (and not even there I believe) and the cement door is cracked open just a bit. Like I've told her, it's been like that for years and nobody has come out yet. I think we're good. LOL She gave me a quick smile and this is what I got. And it doesn't even look forced! I wanted to get another pose or two but she wouldn't turn her back on the door and I am not going to force her or freak her out more then she already was.

Man, she's really going to hate the old cemetary at the lake I'm taking them to next weekend.

This is what Gabriella thinks of Mommy and her camera.

This is a lovely young man I met about 16 yrs ago (my nephew, my sister's son). He had just gotten off the bus from school and I snagged him and got a few of him outside. He kept saying that he "wasn't dressed for pictures" but the boy always looks like he just walked off a catalog cover.

A candid of another young man I met about 17 yrs ago. (yes, another nephew, this one is the son of Dh's sister). I cropped out his beautiful girlfriend only because she was looking out of camera and looked distracted.

This flower was taken with my first love (Z712).
