This is a mini session I did with Gabby yesterday. The first one with the green background is probably the only one I'll have printed off. The others are okay but...not the best.
The one below is way off with the focus and it bums me out. I really liked her expression but the focus fell on maybe the top of her forhead or her headband. I can't tell. Maybe there was no focus at all. LOL

The one below here I really like. I just couldn't figure out whether I wanted it dark or light...so I did a bit of both. I added a lot of shadow to this one. I just love shadows. It's a style all my own I guess. Most people try to get rid of them but I like the "urbaness" (for lack of a better term) of it.

These are some photos of the kids at the park a few days ago.

These photos were taken this last Saturday. The weather was beautiful and we just went all over the place that day. We left early in the morning, had breakfast and didn't come home until the sun started going down. It was really a great day. It was nice to just get out of the house with the kids after being cooped up for all these winter months. It was Gabriella's first "real" outing and she wasn't quite sure what to make of it. The fresh air did her good though and I can't wait until spring officially gets here!!!
These first 3 photos were taken at the covered bridge. I know this first shot is very typical but I just had to.
Izabella's name in this next one was added in post-processing. We did not vadalize the bridge.

This is what happens when my little princess is totally over me and my camera. LOL This shot was actually taken through the car window. Not bad.

One of my favorites in these last couple of days. I think this one turned out really lovely. I love her eyes and her dimples in this shot. She was in the trampoline so the texture you see in the background is the safety netting around the trampoline. Someone commented on my lovely texture that was added but I can't take credit for it. It just happened to be there and was not added later by me.

I love taking pictures of my kids and I always have my "mommy goggles" on but I really have to say that I'm ready for the weather to break so that I can go outside and take pictures of everyone else. Winter is really blah! I can't wait to haul my trunk and some of my vintage chairs to the lake for some really nice shots. Well, hopefully they turn out nice. I'd hate to have my husband haul all that stuff out there for nothing. LOL
I'm ready for color. Right now there is NO COLOR!

Rear view mirror shots.

Evan thought this was just the best. We were waiting for Gene to run in and get (whatever) from the store and I told him to hang out the window. He giggled and laughed the whole time saying, "This is going to be the best shot mommy!" That boy is just like me. He loves to take pictures and recently always has a camera in his hand.
